Trabing Fire

The Trabing Fire is located about 45 minutes south of Redwood Christian Park near the town of Watsonville.  There is no threat posed to RCP.  As of Friday night, northbound Highway 1 is closed in the Watsonville area.  We will keep you updated throughout the weekend as to the status of the fire and the current road closures.

Spring is here!

Spring has once again come to Boulder Creek and the sunshine is welcome after the rainy winter we had. Praise God that none of the storm did any significant damage to any of the buildings here.

Getting Started

Here’s some exciting Redwood news!

A 14 1/2 year old boy who attended June Camp (Family Camp I) made a $150 Faith Promise. He said, “With my eyes closed and my heart open, I felt God leading me to make this promise. After only 4 months, I am happy to be sending in my $150 faith promise. It is a blessing to see how the Lord provided me with this money to give. I had no idea how this would happen but God took care of that.”

That $150 is part of our Missions Support, and there’s more good news from Paraguay. Redwood has partnered with the Methodist Church in Paraguay through a Five-Year Covenant to help with some developments to their campground. After faithful giving by Redwood guests, hard work by our contact and project coordinator in Paraguay, Rochelle Karakey, and by God’s grace, a beautiful pool has been completed and folks have already been baptized. What a wonderful way to celebrate the opening of a Christian campground’s pool!
